Food Stains

Food stains are a common type of stain in our daily lives, and they are unavoidable on kitchen marble countertops. So how do we clean these persistent food stains? For hardened and dried food stains, hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove them. However, it's important to note that hydrogen peroxide should not be left on marble for too long. Once the stain has dissolved and disappeared, immediately wipe it clean with a damp cloth, and then dry it with a dry towel.

Grease Stains

While grease stains are also unavoidable on kitchen marble countertops or dining tables, they cannot be removed with hydrogen peroxide. Instead, an absorbent should be used. Sprinkle an appropriate amount of titanium dioxide onto the grease stain area, let it sit for about 1-2 hours, then wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it.

Acidic Stains

Acidic stains are primarily caused by liquids like vinegar and fruit juice. Therefore, blotting is better than wiping when removing these stains, as wiping may cause the stain to spread. Acidic stains can be removed with a paste made from baking powder and baking soda. For example, if using a baking soda paste to clean acidic stains, wait for the paste to dry and harden, then wipe it off with a damp towel, and finally dry it with a dry towel.
