The polishing process for natural marble mainly includes rough grinding, fine grinding, high-gloss grinding, and polishing. Rough grinding uses 50#, 150#, 300#, and 500# diamond resin hard abrasive blocks. Fine grinding uses 800#, 1000#, and 2000# diamond resin soft water abrasive pads, achieving a gloss level of 50 degrees after fine grinding. High-gloss grinding uses 3000# diamond resin soft water abrasive pads. Polishing uses a crystallizer, animal hair pads, and mirror repair agents. After polishing, the marble surface gloss can reach 90-100 degrees or higher, and it also improves clarity, wear resistance, foot resistance, water resistance, stain resistance, and slip resistance.

Artificial marble manufacturing methods mainly include cement-based, polyester-based, composite, and sintered types. Polyester-based marble is the most commonly used due to its good physical and chemical properties and ease of pattern design. Cement-based artificial marble is the cheapest, but its corrosion resistance is relatively poor. Composite and sintered artificial marble have complex production processes and are rarely used. Artificial marble is composed of modified resin and crushed stone, with a dense structure, small pores, light weight, high strength, and can be processed into curved and other shapes.
