For finished marble countertops, their quality can be assessed from the following four aspects:

1. Observation: Visually inspect the surface structure of the stone. Generally, stone with a uniform, fine-grained structure has a delicate texture and is considered high-quality; coarse-grained or uneven-grained stone has a poorer appearance. Additionally, due to geological processes, stone often contains micro-cracks, along which it is most prone to breakage and should be carefully removed. Missing edges and corners further detract from the aesthetics and should be carefully considered during selection.

2. Measurement: Measure the dimensions of the stone to avoid affecting splicing or causing distortion of patterns, textures, and lines after splicing, thus affecting the decorative effect.

3. Listening: Listen to the sound when tapping the stone.

High-quality stone produces a crisp, pleasant sound when tapped; conversely, if the stone has minor internal cracks or the grains have loosened due to weathering, the sound will be dull and rough.

4. esting: Use simple testing methods to verify the quality of the stone. A common method is to drop a small amount of ink on the back of the stone. If the ink quickly spreads and seeps out, it indicates that the internal particles of the stone are loose or there are gaps, and the stone quality is poor. Conversely, if the ink drop stays in place, it indicates that the stone quality is good.
